Hooj Description
Having appeared earlier in the year as a one sided white (and known then as 'MR DJ - Always'), 'Permanent State' is a bouncy - tech stomper from South London lad, David James, and production partner Mark Yardley, one half of the rather groovy nu step / nu breaks combo, Stanton Warriors.
It comes, as ever, in four mixes: the original's been reworked by the lads themselves, and is the same, but bigger, fatter and better. Mixes come from Hoxton's favourite techyish - housers, Medicine, who turn in a crisp and very workable, er, techyish houser. Twisted's new boy on the block, Tom Stephan adds some tribal phunk in his Superchumbo guise, and Waveform, who goes all bad bwoy on us with a tearing bass line and slamming breaks.

Chungging along with the Nuprogressive House thing, this gets a full CD - aim forthe charts release....
